Any hotels to recommend

I%26#39;m planning to stay 1 night in Macau. Any advise on which hotel (with reasonable price) is near to shopping area and airport?

Also are the hotel rooms big or small?

Any hotels to recommend

Hello!

The airport is on the Taipa side whereas the main shopping areas are on the Macau side. Unless for shopping, you would prefer the shops at the Venetian (on Cotai, near Taipa and airport) instead of the more local ones.

Personally, I would recommend staying on the Macau side as that is where most of the attractions and buzz is. It%26#39;s not far from the airport as the whole of Macau is really small.

The room sizes vary, depending on the hotels. What is your budget?

Macau is tiny, so even if you stay at the furthest point from the airport, even in rush hours it would be a maximum 30 minutes taxi ride.

I also would recommend staying on Macau peninsula, unless the only shopping you plan to do is in the high-end shops in the Venetian. What kind of shopping do you want to do? Clothes / accessories, antiques, jewellery, egg tarts %26amp; local candies? This and your budget can help determine what kind of hotels we should recommend.

Thank you both for your advice.

I%26#39;m not looking for high end shopping..What i wanted to buy is their egg tarts and also some budget shopping...

Does Holiday Inn has a good location?

I have 8 persons going on this trip and it seems that Holiday Inn has 2 double beds so I thot it%26#39;s quite economical to stay there. Any advice?

Hi, then I definitely recommend staying at the Macau side. Holiday Inn does have a good location, and is within walking distance to Senado Square, Margarets (for egg tarts) -- estimated 15-minute walk, depending on your walking speed. You can check out the location here
