For the BFA I went to Boao on several occassions, but no where else so far. I heard from my colleagues that Sanya is to be recommended, but is always crowded with Russians. And is really hot there after May.
Anyone went to Haikou as yet? Possibilities for playing golf, enjoying blue beaches with snorkling? Or is Sanya only the place to be?

Yes, it will be very hot in May and there are so many Russians in Sanya.
There are 2 golf courses in Haikou. One is West Coast GOLF Course, the other one is Mayflower Golf Course. Seems never heard about there are water sports, such as snorkling in Haikou. I think you need go to Sanya for it.

Kindly suggest you to sanya,as sanya has white sand and beautiful sea,even it is a bit hot,it worth visiting any time all year round.
Concerning golf and water sports,there are many options in sanya as well.
