Apparently cycling from Tai Mei Tuk or Tai Po to Sha Tin is very much recommended by numerous sources. Is there a bike company that happens to have shops at both ends so I can rent a bike at one end and drop it off at the other, or do I have to get one for myself?
Cycle from Tai Mei Tuk / Tai Po to Sha TinMost of the bike shop outside of Tai Wai Station (exit D, E, or G) offer one way bike rental, you can return the bike either in Tai Po (along Kwong Fuk Road, not train station) or Tai Mei Tuk, at no additional cost. Just ask.

I suggest to start at Tai Wai coz it%26#39;s easier to locate the bike store.
There are no fix price, some stores tend to charge a higher price if you look like a tourist, try to bargain or ask other customers how much they pay.
