Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with this hotel. The website provides a very favorable view of the facilties, etc, but I can find no independent reviews or other information. Thanks, in advance. Arthur

Did you ever find a response to this hotel in Pingyao? Planning to visit in 2 weeks and saw another hotel Yide. 3 start but this claims to be 5 Star? Thanks Linda

still no feedback. the only information I have is from a travel agent who said it is nice. but the she would wouldn%26#39;t she as she wants to sel it in her package. if you go please feed back.

There%26#39;re actually quite a lot of nice little guesthouses in Pingyao. You won%26#39;t be short of choice for a place to stay.

It really depends on what you are looking for in terms of accommodation, if you are looking for character along with luxury, this is perhaps your best choice in Pingyao. I had not stayed there, but I did go and check out their rooms, the superior rooms are of decent size, a lot bigger than the rooms in the other smaller inns. However, I do find that the place lacks warmth to it.

If you want something that%26#39;s just comfortable, clean and cozy then you have lots of choices to choose from. After checking out a few hotels in the old city, I decided to stayed at the De Jun Yuan, right across from the PIFC, the rooms were smaller, but very clean, and quite cozy, and the staffs were very friendly and helpful, for 1/3 the price I could live with it.
