Anyone know the rates for HNA Huagong?

I%26#39;ve been having trouble with their web site, does anyone know what types of rooms are available and the rates? It would be for one night in December, probably the 19th.

Goodness, way too early to ask about rates! I%26#39;ve previously booked it for around 500 RMB/night for a lakeview room, to give a ballpark figure.

I know my compulsive travel research is on the early side, just trying to get some ideas so I can narrow down my itinerary. Probably still early to even book the international flight.

I am staying in this hotel over this tomb sweeping holiday and it is 479 for a bigger room over 438 smaller room but not lake view. This a local hotel and my judgement is located in a quieter part of west lake and just across the road to the westlake and to Hua gang garden to catch the west lake boat. Only have CNN and HBO and the rest all chinese local channels. I reckoned during December it will be cheaper due to low season. search the web for Ctrip english or elong in english to check the rates day from November. Will ask the hotel tmr for the expected rates in Dec

Thanks

How are the rooms? Are they clean and well maintained? Do you think it would be a problem staying there for someone who dosn%26#39;t speak Mandarin?

Quoting the traveller who I booked there in early August last year:

';Hotel you put us up in was exactly what we wanted in Hangzhou. The view from room was absolutely gorgeous. Green flowing hills with temples and river view. Such a relief from Shanghai. Recommend room 859 in the backor other rooms facing back only on 8th floor. Two blocks walking from Hotel was a great family restuarant next to alot of more expensive ones. Hotel had best breakfast of Hotels we stayed. Also away from hustle and bustle of the rest of Lake. They rent bycycles at hotel 20 RMB per hr or 120 all day. If people are not bicycle riders this may not be the place for them. Go eighth floor rear for great views of hills /pagoda etc We had lunch at Shangrila and glad we did not stay there. Too crowded around hotel.';

They gave full marks for cleanliness, facilities and comfort so I doubt you%26#39;ll have a problem re those aspects.
