Change dates or not?

Hi, wife and I will be visiting Macau for the 1st time on Dec 6, 7, 8 this year.

Was checking the Macau Tourist website and see that on Dec 7 is the International Marathon, and Dec 8 is a Public Hol.

Will it be a problem getting around and seeing Macau easily on these dates and what happens on Pub Hols?

Should I move my 3 days there to mid-week?

Marathon won%26#39;t have much impact, certain part of road will be closed in the morning only.

However you certainly have to pay a much higher price for hotel room during weekend, or Public Holiday, and the city is much more crowded.

Some buses will be rerouted during the marathon, but otherwise no trouble getting around.

You will, however, save up to 2/3 of the hotel bill if you move your booking to midweek :-)
