Evergreen Hotel or Ymca International House ?

These are similar priced budget hotels in same area.

The location is most important as I will be out shopping for the 2 day stopover. I dont intend to spend any time in the hotel, only sleep there.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

I would say the YMCA is slightly better, for being closer to an MTR entrance (just a bit), and a shorter walk away from the shops and markets in Mongkok. But the two hotels are just 10 minutes apart, so it%26#39;s not a great difference in terms of location.

I would say YMCA is much much better. So convenient and is at a much nicer neigbourhood. Next to Peninsula Hotel which is one of the most expensive hotels in Hong Kong, and within 5 minutes to Star Ferry!

Francis, you%26#39;ve got the Y%26#39;s mixed up. The one that Carol%26#39;s looking at is in Yau Ma Tei, not the one near Peninsula in TST. Yes, the TST one is very nice, but I suppose there%26#39;s quite a difference in price.
