hi, i%26#39;m gg to have a day spent in sz during my trip to hk. after reading postsssss on shopping in sz, would just like to have some one to clarify.. if i%26#39;m gg to sz for pure shopping, one day (12nn to evening) should be enough right? and the shoppin centre is just around the railway station? is the pickpocket situation very bad? what can i expect when i step out of the station (e.g. flocks of salesman?)
Shopping in Shenzhen
Yes, there are pickpockets, do not wear a back pack, or keep your wallet in your pocket ;-(
There is a lot more to Shenzhen than the 5 storey high LuoHu Commercial centre, but that is where most people start - handbags, clothese, electronic goods %26amp; on the fifth floor, fabric %26amp; tailors.
Take the metro 2 stops to Dongmen - pedestrian area with lots of small shops or continue on to the electronic centre if you want such goods.

any great food to recommend there? %26#39;cause i%26#39;ll most likely be having my lunch there too :)
