First time in beijing

I%26#39;ll arrived in beijing on 11th april at morning from shanghai by the night train with a friend. I can speak mandarin. i%26#39;ll be back to shanghai on 14 april by train scheduled at 1900.

1)can anyone englighten me on an itenary for 11 april till 14 april. I%26#39;m on a budget trip too.

2)i wish could stay at a courtyard house.

3)what transport that you recommend for two of us when in beijing if we are in a budget visiting this places.

First time in beijing

Fri 11/4: arrive Beijing, check-in hotel, Summer Palace

Sat 12/4: Panjiayuan market, Temple of Heaven, Yonghegong Lamasery, Gui Jie dinner

Sun 13/4: Jinshanling-Simatai Great Wall day hike

Mon 14/4: Tiananmen Square flag-raising, Forbidden City, Wangfujing pedestrian street

Metro is inexpensive, easy to use and fast, though crowded. For places that don%26#39;t have a metro stop, take the metro to the closest possible stop then a taxi for the remainder.
