Is there a list of Tibet minorities locations that are close

We are planning to visit China next week and would like to know if there is a list of places that are closed to tourists.

So far I have learned on the following places (from the forum):

Lhasa

Shangri-La/Zhongdian

Tiger Leaping Gorge

I needed to ';show due cause'; why I should be allowed to enter Qinghai province this week, not only when applying for my latest visa, but also when buying an airline ticket. This might also apply to Gansu, but I don%26#39;t know.

If you%26#39;re just planning a once-off trip, not planning to return to China within the next 3 years or so, you could try fudging your proposed itinerary on your visa application, but you would run the risk of being turned back, particularly if travelling by bus (checkpoints at every county / township boundary in most Tibetan areas).
