hello,
We%26#39;re planning on visiting Hong Kong next week for four days. Do we need to get any vaccinations prior to our trip?
Thanks so much
Hepatitis or Vaccination Shots
You probably don%26#39;t need any vaccinations just for Hong Kong. You are too late for Hep A, it requires months. You could have a tetnis booster if it is not up to date. Your GP will advise you further.

Try traveldoctor.co.nz They have this sort of information.
You should check with your doctor as per previous posts but in saying that you will find HK to be one of the cleanest cities in the world. Hygiene is of a very high standard.
Hi we just came back I wanted to check as well as we were going on to Thailand as well.I would check your tetnus and polio is up to date but that is it.I was told didn%26#39;t need anything else. Are you going on to anyway else?As i got bit alive in Ko samui.I was glad then That i had had Hep A and thriod i think it was the year before when we went to Cuba. But i think you do have to have these jabs a while before you go.
I think if you%26#39;re going just to Hong Kong, you%26#39;ll be fine.
I think the only real advice would be to drink bottled water. I don%26#39;t think you%26#39;ll be in any danger from any disease unless you do something well off the beaten path.
get a typhoid vaccinations, you%26#39;ll be set to eat at food vendors on the street
i think at this point of time, is too late for you to take any vaccinations. Just enjoy yourselves. :)
