HK to SZ, depends on where you start, HK Intl airport, HK island or Kowloon.

Anyway, if you wish to visit WoW, you can stay at Shekou, the easiest way to get there is by ferry.

At Shehou you can stay at Nan Hai Hotel, or Holiday Inn.

Thanks for your reply, we are leaving for Shenzen from disneyland resort and are staying at Grand Mercure oriental Ginza (already booked). With lots of luggage.

Okay, you start from Disneyland Hotel.

There cheapest way is by MTR to Lowu but it would be quite difficult with children with lots of luggage.

I%26#39;d still suggest 1)the ferry, or 2)hire a cross border van, or 3)go back to HKIA and use the cross border coach service to SZ, I believe the bus would have a stop a Grand Mercure Ginza.

is there a cross border van service from Shenzhen to HK (i%26#39;m staying at best western felicity) On the other post i had asked, some one suggest me we could take the trains with our large luggages and check it in at the station. I wonder if there is van cross border to HK and drop us at our causeway bay hotel in HK (Charterhouse hotel. I know it will be pleasent just to take the vans with our luggages, since my wife is planning for a shopping fiesta @ lowu. im worried that we gonna have extras luggages coming back to HK from SZ.

Anyone have any same experiences or suggestion?

Greatly appreciate for helps on tips n suggestions.

Thanks

Hi frozzty,

You can hire a cross border van in HK or SZ, with this service you do the customs and immigration in the van, i.e. don%26#39;t need to haul the luggage on and off. But it is not cheap, something between HK$1200-$1500 one way, depends on where you want to go and what time of the day you travel.

There might be a cheaper way: there may be other guest willing to share a van with you, try to ask your hotel...if you%26#39;re staying at a business hotel, the chance is higher.

thanks for the tip taipo babe. i guess this will be my nightmare trip. my wife is still stick to her plans, on shopping spree and i really worried about this luggages issues, on bringin them back to HK. i heard the train from lowu is a regular commuter MTR to HK.

im totally lost now, i dont want this trip to a disastrous for me, but not on my wifes side.

Hi frozzty,

You can take MTR east rail from Lowu to almost anywhere in HK.

If you have lots of lugguage, ask the taxi driver to stop at 缃楁箹浜ら€氭〒 (3/F of Traffic Building), which is connected to the immigration building, you should be quite alright.

Good luck.
