View from Monte Fort - mainland China?

Noticed a view point from where you can have a view of St Pauls from Monte Fort.

Are the buildings across the water body seen from here in mainland China???

Yes; these are in one of Zhuhai%26#39;s suburbs. Originally the mills behind them came right down to the water%26#39;s edge, but 15 years or so ago the Chinese started dynamiting the hillsides out and using the rubble to create flat areas in what had been the sea - it made Macau sound as if it was coming under heavy artillery fire for more than a year!

Great!! That sounds great! Was slightly disappointed that I missed the ';view'; from Penha hill, but yesterday on seeing my photos from Monte fort and a Macau map I realised I might have seen ';mainland China'; though form a distance :-)

From just about anywhere in Macau, if you face west or north, you will see Zhuhai. From Fortress mount it was probably the Zhuhai suburb of Wanzai you could see.
