I will be staying at the Hollywood hotel in Disney for 4 nights and would like to take a couple of trip to City Gate Mall. Can someone please tell me if I am correct with the tranpertation?
I would take the Disney shuttle to Sunny bay then transfer to the Tung Chung line and then just get of at the next stop(going back to the airports direction)??
Once I get off where do I go and how far is the walk? I was thinking that City Gate mall was right there when you exit, am I correct??
Any advice would be welcomed...Thanks!!
Tung chung-City Gate??
That%26#39;s correct. At Sunny Bay go to the platform and board the train heading to Tung Chung. It%26#39;s just one stop and the final stop.
The mall is connected to the station. Just look for signs.
Tung chung-City Gate??
I cant get over how easy it will be, I cant wait. Thanks for reassuring me that it is manageable and easy!
Sorry, didn%26#39;t see the posts here.
We were at City Gate outlet mall last week and were disappointed with what is on offer. Its not the bargain place that you may think. I found the shopping better around Nathan road and HK Island. I guess if you think its not up to scratch you can always take the Ngong Ping Cable Car upto the big Buddha which is very nice 1/2 day out.
Good luck and let us know what you think.
Thanks PinoSydney, I realy just want some place to go at night when the park closes. Also a place to get a bite to eat just in case the park and hotel food gets boring? This is the first leg of our trp. After four nights here we will go to Macau for five nights and then Causeway Bay(park lane hotel) for five nights. I cant wait, and will be sure to post a report on anything that may help. I am not really trying to make any plans or stick to any(will be hard with four kids 2, 5, 10 and 12 years of age). I just want to go and take it as it comes and just enjoy hong kong as it comes!!??
How far are the cable cars to the big budda from city gate? Maybe that is something we can try to make happen if its not that hard to get to?
Angie, The cable car is next to the Tung Chung MTR. Your kids will love it. My 2 1/2 year old had a ball.
Thanks PinoSydney!
I will put that on the list of things to ro see/do...
